My brother Bernie and Terry McMilan (another RV-7 builder from Mississauga) came over to help with the wing mating. We positioned the fuelage across the garage and leveled it laterally and longitudinally. Then we inserted the forward spars of the wings into the fuselage center section. We then checked for wing forward and aft sweep. After two iterations the wings were square so we checked and adjusted the wing incidence and drilled the rear spar attach bolt holes. Bernie drilled the lower fuselage to wing skin joint retaining screw holes while Terry and I rigged the aileron push tubes to the control sticks. With that complete we trimmed the fuel supply lines to length, fitted the fuel tank vent lines between the fuselage and tank and drilled the holes for the attach bolt for the fuel tank forward inboard attach bracket.
